Leo Archer
Director
Dr. Archer is currently a successful small business entrepreneur and technology consultant. Prior to this he spent 18 years serving in the semiconductor and microelectronics industries. In his broad career he has worked in a number of very diverse roles including R&D, applications development and support, product marketing, and corporate marketing/PR. He began in semiconductor R&D at Texas Instruments and subsequently worked in process development at Intel. However, most of his career was spent on the capital equipment and consumables side of the industry having most recently served as Segment Manager at Entegris Corporation (previously ATMI), responsible for new chemical product development in their wet cleaning division.
His role as Vice President of Emerging Technologies for SEZ AG changed to Director of Cleans for the critical North America market at Lam Research after their acquisition of SEZ. In these roles he was responsible for product alignment with the evolving needs of leading edge companies in the semiconductor industry. Dr. Archer is the co-inventor of one U.S. patent and has published numerous articles and presentations in scientific and industry publications. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and PhD. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of New Mexico.
